About Us

Country Cycle opened its doors in 1980 in the small village of Chortitz. At the age of 72, the original owner retired and passed the shop to its current owner, Peter Loewen, who then relocated the store to Winkler, Manitoba. Over the years, we’ve grown into a full-service bike shop, selling and servicing a wide range of quality bicycles, cross-country ski equipment, and accessories.

In July 2024, we moved once again to our new location at Terra Point, conveniently situated between Winkler and Morden. This new space allows us to better serve our growing community, while maintaining the same dedication to quality and expertise that’s been a hallmark of Country Cycle for over four decades.
